  4. Welcome to Shockwave for FreeHand! Now you can view FreeHand graphics on the World Wide Web or author your own web pages using the most powerful tool for design and illustration. Before using Shockwave, take a little time and read the following notes.

  7. Complete documentation for Shockwave for FreeHand is included as an HTML file with your Shockwave software. You can view the documentation using any program that supports HTML, for example Netscape Navigator.

  9. There's also online documentation for Shockwave on Macromedia's home page at www.macromedia.com.

  11. The Shockwave for FreeHand software provided here is a beta version, not a final release.  The latest version of the Shockwave plug-in can be found on Macromedia's home page.

  13. Netscape Navigator 2.0
  14. You must use Netscape Navigator version 2.0 or later with Shockwave for FreeHand. Shockwave is a Netscape plug-in, and should be put into your Netscape plug-ins folder.

  17. If you are designing web pages, you'll need the Shockwave Xtra package which is also provided here. This package includes the URLs and Afterburner FreeHand Xtras.  These Xtras will work in FreeHand 5.0 or later.
